we have no scar to show for happiness.

… and “Nothing On You,” by Bruno Mars came on the radio. Now, Bruno is not on my go-to playlist, or any of my playlists for that matter, but while washing my hands, I decided to give the song a closer listen. 

“They might say hi, and I might say hey, but you shouldn’t worry about what they say, ‘cause they got nothing on you.”

What? Is that real? 

How profound. Don’t fret Bruno, because I’m certainly not concerned about any relations you are having with other girls based on the complexity of your “hi,” “hey” conversation.

I really love when I find out TODAY that I have six meetings in the next two days, one of which will take up my entire Friday evening. 

But it’s ok, because this week has been magnificent. Positive attitude, don’t fail me now.
